Dr. Clarke Stewart, DMD is a premier Flowood periodontist specializing in dental implant dentistry and interdisciplinary care. As a periodontist, Dr. Stewart is a recognized expert on preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease.

R. Clarke Stewart, D.M.D. completed his undergraduate training with a B.S. degree in Biology from Mississippi College in 1980 and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1987. At the time of graduation, he received the Dean’s Scholarship Award and the International College of Dentists’ Award. He was inducted into Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and also into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Dr. Stewart received his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Alabama in 1989.
Dr. Stewart is currently on staff at River Oaks Hospital. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Association of Periodontists, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Periodontology, and was inducted into the American College of Dentists in 2006. He has also served as President of the Jackson Dental Society and served as President of the Mississippi Dental Association in 2010. He has served as president of the Mississippi Wildlife Federation; the largest private conservation organization in the state.
Dr. Stewart was born and raised in Raymond, Mississippi, where he still resides with his wife Frankie and his children, Clarke Jr., Susannah and Philip. The family attends Raymond Presbyterian Church where Dr. Stewart serves as an elder.
